Rati Tsiteladze is a European Film Academy Award nominated filmmaker, Actor and former World Champion in martial arts.
He studied acting at the Hybrid Conservatory in Los Angeles. In 2014, Rati participated in 'DANCING WITH THE STARS' in Georgia and played a starring role in the Ukrainian-Georgian TV series 'PARADOX.' In 2022, Rati had his first leading English role in the Dutch feature film 'BO,' directed by Joost van Ginkel.
As a filmmaker, Rati is an alumnus of the TIFF Filmmaker Lab, Locarno Academy, IDFAcademy, Berlinale Talent Project Market, and Cannes Cinéfondation. As an artist, he has been part of several institutions, including Artists-in-residence at MuseumsQuartier.
Rati directed and produced several short films that won over 50 awards worldwide and screened at more than 300 film festivals, including Hong Kong, Melbourne and Locarno. His work "PRISONER OF SOCIETY" (2018) won numerous Oscar qualifying awards and was nominated for the European Film Academy. With his feature film projects Rati was selected at Cannes Cinéfondation Residence, Cannes Docs and won Eurimages Award at TIFF, HBO Award at Sarajevo, and the first HFPA Film Independent Award by Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Golden Globes.
